The G450, released in 2004 was built to be a bridge between the popular G550 and the price-efficient G400. There are over 300 G450s in service today and the production of them stopped in 2014. It is considered a Heavy Jet and carries an average of 14 passengers up to 4'385 nm. The G450 achieves this range with a combination between the fuel efficient engines of the G400 and the nose bridge from the G550. This allows the G450 to be a cross between range and comfort. The G450 also features the latest and greatest in avionics including the well received Plane View technology that uses a built in forward facing camera to increase safety with abilities such as night vision and infrared that can allow for safer operating in low visibility.
