The 35/36 series Learjets were derived directly from the 25 series with the addition of a 13 inch fuselage stretch, 4-6 cabin windows per side, a 4 foot longer wing and highly efficient Garrett turbofan engines. In fact they were the first Garrett powered Learjets. The larger fuselage and turbofan engines made for superior range. The 35 has shorter range and holds 8 passengers while the 36 model offers longer range but with 2 less passenger seats due to its larger aft fuselage tank. This aircraft can be RVSM certified when Supplemental Type Certificate ST00952SE is complied with.
