The Learjet 60 is derived from the model 55C; it is 43 inches longer and employs highly fuel-efficient Pratt & Whitney PW305A engines. It also benefits from numerous aerodynamic refinements to its wing and fuselage, as well as larger aft stabilization delta fins. All these improvements give the Learjet 60 superior gross takeoff weight, fuel capacity, speed and range as compared to its predecessor. Rohr hydraulic thrust reversers and single-point refueling are standard, as is a highly sophisticated Collins Pro Line 4 Avionics suite. This aircraft can be RVSM certified when service bulletin SB-60-34-06 is complied with.
