G650 Overview

The G650 is nomenclature "Farther, Faster, and First of its Kind" and it truly earns this title. The line of dialogue from Gulfstream is that when the design team came together, they consulted with a custom board of aviation enthusiasts with the goal of designing the new standard of business aviation. They wanted the new craft to truly redefine what private aviation was. The story goes that they decided the cabin would be rebuilt from scratch, requiring them to drop the wings 2 feet, then this required a wing and winglet overhaul, this required a fuselage reconstruction, and this continues. The team of engineers says that by the time they finished, not a single part of the plane was to be carried over. The effects are obvious. The plane decimated former records for speed, fought the abilities even the most cost effective aircraft, and has best in class comfort.
